Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with expertise in both Indian GAAP and US GAAP. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting functions for domestic (India) and international (primarily US-based) operations, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and supporting tax, audit, and financial reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and US GAAP.

- Maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts between Indian and US entities.

- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

Taxation & Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax.

- Assist with US tax filings and coordinate with US CPAs on federal and state tax matters.

- Manage GST and TDS returns, and support audits and tax assessments in India.

- Maintain knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and documentation.

Audit & Controls:

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for India and US audits.





- Ensure proper internal controls are in place and suggest improvements where necessary.

ERP & Tools:

- Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or Netsuite.

- Strong skills in MS Excel and familiarity with financial modeling and analysis.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

- Work closely with finance, HR, and operations teams to ensure proper accounting and compliance.

- Liaise with US-based finance teams or clients for reporting and reconciliation.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or CA Inter preferred).

- 4+ years of accounting experience handling both Indian and US accounts.

- Robust knowledge of Indian accounting standards and familiarity with US GAAP.

- Experience in preparing financial statements and handling audits.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- CA, CPA, or equivalent certification (completed or pursuing).

- Experience working with multinational companies or outsourced accounting firms.

- Knowledge of payroll processing, especially for both Indian and US employees.
