Role Description The Accountant role at ML TRADE is a full-time, in office position based in Bhopal. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities including bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, and maintenance of ledgers.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations of bank and credit accounts, and supporting monthly and annual closing. The role also involves assisting with budgets, cost analyses, and financial reports for internal management and client projects, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.



The Accountant will collaborate with consultants and management to provide accurate financial data that supports strategic and operational decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting and bookkeeping, including ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting to support internal decision-making and client projects.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools, and MS Excel).
- Understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and standard accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhopal, manage deadlines, and handle confidential financial information with integrity.
