Role Description The Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations and supporting sound financial decision-making. Key tasks include recording and reconciling financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The role also involves handling bank reconciliations, monitoring cash flow, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.





The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, prepare periodic financial reports for management, and support audits and financial reviews to maintain transparency and accuracy in all financial activities.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, Excel) and comfort working with spreadsheets and financial data.
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, GST, and regulatory compliance relevant to the travel and hospitality sector.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial information, identify variances, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry and documentation, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple financial tasks and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in accounting within a travel, tourism, or service-based organization is preferred.
