About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Accountant to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, payroll and financial reconciliations. The role will work closely with management, our CA/CS and internal teams to keep our books, inventory and compliances accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, journals and ledgers; support monthly and year-end closing.

• GST & Tax Compliance: Handle GST and TDS workings, reconciliations and filings; monitor compliance deadlines and coordinate with the CA/tax consultant.

• Payroll, PF & ESI: Process monthly payroll and salary deductions; manage applicable PF, ESI, Professional Tax and related statutory filings.

• Inventory & Stock Reconciliation: Maintain inventory accounting and reconcile purchase, sales and stock records; investigate stock variances, returns, damages and adjustments.

• Bank & Ledger Reconciliation: Perform regular bank, customer and vendor reconciliations and clear outstanding discrepancies.

• Receivables & Payables: Maintain customer/vendor ledgers, track ageing, support collections and prepare payment schedules.

• Audit & Statutory Support: Maintain audit-ready records and coordinate with the CA/CS, auditors and other external professionals for required filings and information.





• MIS & Management Reporting: Prepare concise reports on sales, purchases, inventory, receivables, payables, cash/bank, GST and other key financial information.

What We're Looking For• 3–6 years of practical accounting experience, preferably in a Private Limited Company.

• Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping, GST, TDS, payroll, PF/ESI, reconciliations and statutory compliance.

• Valuable working knowledge of Tally Prime or a similar accounting ERP and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

• Experience with inventory accounting and stock reconciliation is strongly preferred.

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of deadlines and accuracy.

• Strong attention to detail, organisation, follow-up and confidentiality.

• Commerce/Accounting/Finance graduate; CA Inter / similar qualification is a plus, not mandatory.

Good to HaveExperience in distribution, trading, FMCG, retail or e-commerce; exposure to high-volume transactions; familiarity with inventory/ERP systems; experience coordinating with CA/CS firms and auditors.
