Role Overview

We are looking for an Accessory Design Intern / Merchandiser who is curious, detail-oriented, and deeply interested in product development. You'll work closely with the design team across

Fashion trends , market research, sketching, illustration, concept development, material exploration, building mock ups/prototyping, product execution and merchandising.

This is an opportunity to be involved in building collections from the ground up while gaining hands-on experience in the luxury industry.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the design and development of leather goods collections and other accessories.
- Conduct in-depth research on global fashion, luxury, lifestyle, and consumer trends.
- Study fashion forecasting platforms, business reports, runway collections, and market insights to identify emerging opportunities.
- Research Indian textiles, traditional crafts,



weaving techniques, and regional handicrafts for product inspiration.
- Develop mood boards, concept presentations, color stories, and material directions.
- Create technical drawings, 3D, and design specifications.
- Assist in merchandising, collection planning, and product assortment.
- Source and organize information on materials, trims, hardware, and manufacturing techniques.
- Coordinate with vendors, artisans, and production teams when required.
- Maintain design documentation and product libraries.
- Stay updated with evolving design, fashion, luxury, and retail trends.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Design, Fashion Accessories.
- 0 to 1 years of experience (internships and academic projects are welcome).
- Strong understanding of product design, textile design and leather goods.
- Genuine interest in Indian textiles, crafts, and traditional handicrafts is essential.
- Technical Skills : Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Procreate
- Robust sense of FASHION is a MUST

Bonus Points

- Interest or experience in footwear & textile design.
- Knowledge of leather construction, pattern making, or prototyping.
- Familiarity with luxury brands, global fashion weeks, and trend forecasting platforms.
- Interest in sustainability, craftsmanship, and artisan-led design.
