Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented Academic Counselor who can connect with international students and parents, understand their educational requirements, recommend suitable programs, and drive enrollments.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and convincing skills, a strong sales mindset, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with parents and students.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with prospective students and parents through inbound and outbound calls.
- Understand students' academic requirements, goals, and learning needs.
- Counsel parents and students regarding EdifyChamps' courses and learning programs.
- Recommend appropriate courses based on the student's requirements.
- Handle the complete counseling and enrollment process from lead interaction to conversion.
- Follow up consistently with leads and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
- Achieve assigned weekly and monthly enrollment/revenue targets.
- Build strong and long-term relationships with parents and students.
- Address queries, objections, and concerns professionally.
- Coordinate with mentors, academic teams,



and operations teams for smooth student onboarding.
- Maintain proper follow-up schedules and update lead status regularly.
- Participate in seminars, webinars, and other student engagement activities when required.
- Ensure a positive student/parent experience throughout the enrollment journey.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- 1–3+ years of experience in Academic Counseling, EdTech Sales, Inside Sales, Education Sales, or a similar role.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Target-oriented and comfortable working in a sales-driven environment.
- Ability to communicate confidently with international clients.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
- Strong follow-up and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working in the US/night shift.
