About SMAAI
SMAAI (www.smaai.org) is a team of AI agents that runs a business's entire marketing and sales on Revenue-First Autopilot (RFA) — one AI system working across content, social media, SEO, lead generation, WhatsApp, ads, voice and CRM. Businesses set a revenue target and the AI plans and executes the marketing funnel to reach it. SMAAI is built by ArtCl, a startup based in Palakkad, Kerala. We're scaling across India and global markets, and we're looking for a senior business development professional to drive that growth.
The Role
We're seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to own the full sales cycle — from identifying and engaging prospects to closing deals and building lasting client relationships. You'll be selling a category-defining AI product to businesses, agencies and enterprise clients across India and international markets,
and you'll play a central role in SMAAI's growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect and qualify potential clients across target industries (agencies, mid-market and enterprise) in India and international markets
Own the end-to-end sales cycle: outreach, discovery, product demos, negotiation and closing
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
Conduct compelling product demonstrations that showcase SMAAI's value and the RFA concept
Develop and execute outbound strategies across LinkedIn, email, calls and partnerships
Build and nurture relationships with digital marketing agencies as white-label reseller partners
Engage and manage international clients across different regions and time zones
Understand client business goals and map SMAAI's capabilities to their needs consultatively
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Maintain CRM hygiene — log activity, track
