Role Description The Service Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at Villa Maya in Trivandrum. This position is responsible for welcoming guests, guiding them to their tables, presenting menus, and explaining dishes and specials in a clear, courteous manner. Day-to-day tasks include taking and relaying orders accurately, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, serving food and beverages,



and ensuring tables are set, cleaned, and reset to brand standards. The Service Associate handles guest inquiries, manages basic billing processes, and supports reservations and seating arrangements to maintain smooth restaurant operations. The role also involves adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines, assisting with special events, and consistently delivering a refined, personalized service aligned with Villa Maya’s high hospitality standards.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation to engage guests professionally and build positive relationships.
Clear and confident communication skills, including the ability to explain menu items and respond to guest needs effectively.
Basic analytical skills and finance awareness to handle bills, payments, and easy reconciliations accurately.
