Job Descreption

The purpose of this role is to ensure the developed software meets the client requirements and the business’ quality standards within the project release cycle and established processes. To lead QA technical initiatives in order to optimize the test approach and tools.

Must Have Skills

Experience & Knowledge in DWH and Database Testing
SQL and ETL testing knowledge
Debug the differences and document the issues identified
Understand Requirements and translate them into test cases
Proficiency with SQL language and Data Warehousing principles
Any ETL Tool knowledge
Experience on Cloud technologies AZURE prefered.
Experience on JIRA and Agile
Positive Communication skills

Key responsibiltes





Define scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing.
Write test plans, design test cases, develop test SQL scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results
Actively participates in test planning by identifying testing requirements, scope and estimates
Ensures optimal test coverage comprising of positive, negative and exception scenarios
Logs defects with right priority, tracking them to closure and understanding the root cause for an issue
Work on DWH / Database testing
Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Validate fixes and ensure follow through to all test cycles
Investigate and recommend remediation strategies for data quality conditions, and process failures
Communicate test status to internal project team and clients(s)
Develop and contribute best practices and standards for a solution or across multiple medium/large scale projects/accounts
