Job Summary:
To Successfully design, develop, simulate and test hardware products for Cubic which will be used for intelligent travel applications in the transportation industry. You will be involved in the full life cycle of product development including design reviews, supplier management and working with production to deliver the end solution to the customer.
The position requires a highly motivated and hands-on team player with an exceptional attention to detail, diligence, and a positive attitude. This being lead a role, might need to manage a team as per the project requirements.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Full technical responsibility for electronic and electrical engineering to fulfil the requirements through design, component selection, prototype, testing and full documentation stages
Take ownership of the Design and keep the business updated on progress.
Excellent communications both verbal and written are essential with all teams and management.
Oversee the management of suppliers from engineering specification through to delivery of parts for evaluation, prototyping and production.
To assess the validity of the various design and manufacturing proposals - for maximum cost effectiveness on the project
Assist with the preparation of presentations and proposals to customers
