Roles and Responsibilities:
Design progressive tools, dies, press tools, sheet metal parts using CAD software such as AutoCAD and 3D CAD.
Create designs for automobile components with expertise in DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets manufacturing requirements.
Develop detailed drawings and specifications for tooling projects.
Troubleshoot design issues and optimize designs for improved performance.
Desired Candidate Profile:
7-12 years of experience in tool design engineering with a focus on auto ancillary industry.
Diploma or B.Tech / B.E. degree from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles.
Solid understanding of sheet metal forming processes and die making techniques.
