Accelirate is hiring a Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer to own the cloud and container platform backbone supporting our automation delivery accounts, including our Amazon enterprise account. This is a hands-on, largely autonomous role spanning AWS architecture, Kubernetes administration, and infrastructure-as-code. We need someone who combines deep technical range with robust follow-through and clear, proactive client communication — this role has a direct line of sight to enterprise client infrastructure and needs to be trusted to run independently with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, and related services) supporting automation and integration workloads.
Administer and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (Amazon EKS) — deployments, autoscaling, networking, and security configuration.




Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred; CloudFormation acceptable) for repeatable, auditable environments.
Own infrastructure reliability and monitoring for assigned client environments; identify and resolve issues proactively rather than waiting to be asked.
Partner directly with client stakeholders and the Accelirate delivery team to translate infrastructure needs into secure, cost-efficient designs.
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automation deployments.
Document architecture decisions, runbooks, and operational procedures for the team.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on AWS infrastructure / DevOps experience in production environments.
Strong production experience administering Kubernetes (Amazon EKS preferred) — deployments, Helm, networking, security.
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code, ideally Terraform.
Solid scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and operational
