Job Description: Senior DevOps Engineer

Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Location: Remote (India)
Experience: 6 - 8 years

We’re looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to help us scale secure, reliable delivery and infrastructure across a hybrid environment (on-prem + cloud, Azure-first).

What you’ll do
Build and optimize self-hosted GitLab CI/CD pipelines for hybrid deployments.
Create reusable CI/CD templates for build, test, package, and release workflows.
Operate and improve container platforms, including migration from Docker-based environments to Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration automation with Ansible.
Strengthen DevSecOps controls in pipelines (SAST/DAST, dependency and license scanning, secrets handling).
Manage container image lifecycle and security (Harbor/Trivy preferred).
Improve observability, alerting, and reliability across infrastructure and applications (Elastic, Zabbix, Prometheus/Grafana).




Partner with Engineering, QA, Security, and IT Ops to reduce incidents and improve deployment confidence.
Support cost-aware operations across Azure/AWS/GCP (FinOps mindset).

Must-have skills
6-8 years in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering.
Strong hands-on GitLab CI/CD experience (self-hosted preferred).
Hands-on experience creating and managing Docker containers.
Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience (AKS preferred, EKS/GKE welcome).
Solid production experience with Terraform and Ansible.
Solid Linux, networking, and container fundamentals.
Experience embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud).
