Overview

This role sits within Mastercard’s Open Finance Europe – Connectivity team, responsible for building and operating scalable API integrations with financial institutions across Europe.

As a Software Engineer II, you will be a hands-on engineer responsible for building, testing, and supporting secure, reliable backend services.



You will contribute to the development of scalable solutions, collaborate with experienced engineers on system design and implementation, and help deliver high-quality software that operates in production environments.

What You'll Do
• Develop, test, and support scalable APIs and backend services
• Contribute to the design and implementation of reliable, maintainable software solutions
• Deliver high-quality code throughout the software development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues under guidance from senior team members
• Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering best practices and standards
