About the Role
The Senior Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the bank’s policies, procedures, and operations adhere to regulatory and ethical standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance and regulatory affairs, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring the bank's adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and authorities.
Monitor and analyze regulatory developments and advise the bank on potential impacts.
Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance matters.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings in a timely manner.




Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Secondary Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training programs for employees.
Conduct investigations and respond to regulatory inquiries and audits.
Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
What We Are Looking For
Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Post Graduation degree in MBA
Experience
Minimum of8+ yearsof experience in compliance, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
Skills and Attributes
Robust knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to RBI guidelines, SEBI regulations, and FEMA regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Proficient in MS Off
