A primary focus will be on designing, writing, enhancing, and maintaining automated test scripts using languages like Python or similar. You'll help build a robust regression test suite for products
Architect and implement automated tests specifically targeting challenging user interface and graphics-intensive test cases. You'll leverage tools like Python, Perl, Eggplant or similar, pushing the boundaries of what's automatable.
Create programs or scripts that automate test cases from real-world engineering functionalities like import/export, FE model creation, analysis setup, or post-processing tasks.
Proactively translate existing manual test cases into efficient automated scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage, improved efficiency, and faster feedback cycles. You'll design tests that effectively validate new features and existing functionality.
Develop and prepare model files necessary to support and validate automated test functions within products.




Update the current suite of automated tests to align with the latest product releases and add recent automated tests for functional areas that currently lack automation.
Work closely with senior QA engineers and software developers, actively contributing to discussions on test strategy, automation architecture, and the integration of automated tests into our continuous integration pipelines.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field with hands-on software development experience.
3-5 years of professional experience in test automation within Software Quality Engineering, with a strong portfolio of automation projects.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Perl and experience with building a web application.
Experience with version control systems like Git, Gitlab or GitHub.
Expertise in Python and Django (or Django REST Framework).
Strong mastery of OOP design patterns, clean code, and API design.
