The Senior Tax Analyst will join Gigamon’s global tax function and support U.S. federal, state and local, and international tax activities. Based in Chennai, this role will partner closely with the Director, Accounting Operations, the Senior Director of Tax, Accounting teams in the U.S. and India, external tax advisors, tax authorities, and business stakeholders.



The position will contribute to accurate and timely tax compliance, tax accounting, reconciliations, audits, notices, and related projects. Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge, careful attention to detail, and effective collaboration across U.S. and India time zones.
What you’ll do:
Prepare, review, and support state and local sales, use, commercial activity, and other indirect tax returns.
Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and use tax accruals and support related account reconciliations.
Maintain taxability and product-mapping data in sales tax systems, including Avalara AvaTax.
Prepare and submit responses to federal, state, and local tax notices in coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
Support tax audits by gathering documentation, preparing schedules, and tracking open items through resolution.
