We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer in the Infrastructure Solutions Software team in our CE-SW group. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with responsibility for leading and developing a team of test engineers. The focus will be on driving system-level validation and quality for our infrastructure platforms, developing effective test strategies and automation, and ensuring high-quality delivery across pre-silicon and silicon environments.

Responsibilities

You will:

Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing technical direction, coaching and line management while remaining hands-on.




Drive validation planning, translating requirements into test activities, coverage goals and estimates.
Develop test automation and infrastructure, improving tools, frameworks, CI and regression capabilities.
Drive system-level validation and defect resolution across pre-silicon and silicon environments.
Collaborate across software, firmware and hardware teams to resolve issues and support product readiness.

Required Skills and Experience :

Strong experience in software testing and system-level validation for SoC, firmware, platform software or embedded systems.
Experience leading and developing engineers, with strong technical leadership and interpersonal skills.
Robust knowledge of test methodologies, automation, CI and regression testing.
Experience using test coverage, quality metrics and defect management to drive quality.
