CBC News is looking for an innovative and versatile video producer with a strong interest in world news and excellent field video producing skills to join our bureau in Mumbai, India.



If you’re a creator at heart and enjoy storytelling and producing content across visual formats, this job could be for you.
The goal at CBC News is to help Canadians make sense of their world, including the changing role the Indo-Pacific region plays in everything from geo-politics and trade, to technology, culture and climate. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a small team, under the direction of the Senior Producer, World News Assignment, to bring those stories to Canadian audiences across video, audio and text.
You bring a deep knowledge of the historical complexities of the region and the confidence to help shape the CBC News editorial coverage.
You’re a technical whiz who will be shooting, editing, packaging and publishing content on multiple platforms. This includes short-form vertical videos and on-demand content for CBC.ca and beyond.
