Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business system components. This role requires dynamic problem-solving to ensure system stability and performance, collaborating with different teams to maintain seamless operations and swiftly address any disruptions that may impact business continuity. The position demands vigilance and adaptability to manage complex environments and deliver timely resolutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Own incidents from triage through resolution troubleshoot cluster failures, slot migration, replication lag, failover, memory fragmentation, and persistence (RDB/AOF) issues using redis-cli produce RCA and Post-Incident Reports within SLA conduct health assessments covering memory utilization, replication performance, cluster sizing, and keyspace growth deliver capacity planning recommendations maintain runbooks, playbooks, and KB articles.
Diagnose and troubleshoot cluster failures, forest corruption, replication lag, merge issues, and journal-related problems.
Administer and maintain enterprise forests, databases, and E-node, D-node, and A-node replication environments.
Monitor and ensure replication health, data consistency, and system availability across distributed environments.
Manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), user permissions, security configurations, and audit compliance.
