Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for driving growth of Progcap’s financing solutions across the assigned territory. This role involves identifying and onboarding micro and small retailers and channel partners, building strong relationships, and promoting Progcap’s products to meet sales and portfolio targets.



The Area Sales Manager will conduct regular market visits, understand local business needs, and gather insights to refine go-to-market strategies. Day-to-day activities include managing the sales pipeline, coordinating with credit and operations teams for smooth customer onboarding, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. The role also includes monitoring portfolio quality, supporting collections when needed, and representing Progcap in local market initiatives and partner engagements.
Qualifications
Experience in field sales, business development, or channel management in financial services, fintech, FMCG, or related sectors.
Solid relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage retailers, distributors, and partners across semi-urban and rural markets.
