You Are

You have spent time in the world of custom design and analog circuits, whether through coursework, internships, or early projects, and you know enough to recognize when a simulation is behaving strangely or when a design flow is breaking in a way that matters. You are the kind of person who reads error logs carefully, asks clarifying questions, and does not stop until you understand what is actually happening under the hood.





Supporting customers energizes you. Walking someone through a tricky setup or helping them unlock a tool feature they did not know existed feels like a win. You are comfortable writing explicit explanations, whether it is an email to a frustrated user or a how-to doc that saves the next person three hours of trial and error.

Scripting does not intimidate you. You have written Python or TCL before, or you are ready to learn, because you see automation as a way to make repetitive problems go away. Working across teams, translating what a customer needs into something R&D; can act on, feels like the interesting part of the job, not the bureaucratic part.
