About the Role

We are looking for a Design & Drafting Engineer with strong hands-on experience in casting and forging component design to join our Bangalore engineering team.

The role sits at the intersection of customer engineering requirements and supplier manufacturing capability.



You will translate OEM design intent into manufacturable, cost-effective casting and forging designs and drawings while applying DFM/DFC principles early in the product development cycle.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with OEMs in automotive, industrial equipment, off-highway, or heavy engineering, with strong expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD and working knowledge of CATIA and Creo.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Drafting

* Create and detail 3D models, GA drawings, and manufacturing drawings for casting and forging components.
* Work on sand casting, investment casting, die casting, open-die forging, and closed-die forging components.
* Interpret customer specifications, 2D/3D data, GD&T; requirements, and engineering standards.
* Convert OEM/customer design intent into supplier-ready manufacturing drawings.
* Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Castin
