Sportstech is looking to strengthen its in-house performance marketing capabilities and manage paid media more efficiently across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads for the DACH, France, Italy and Spain markets.
As advertising platforms increasingly automate bidding, targeting, budget optimization and campaign delivery through solutions such as Google Performance Max / AI Max, Microsoft Advertising automation and Meta Advantage+, the focus of this role will be on maintaining strong internal ownership of strategy, performance, data, tracking, automation and commercial decision-making.
The objective is to reduce dependency on external agencies, improve execution speed, strengthen data ownership and create a more scalable and cost-productive paid media operation.
Key Responsibilities Paid Media Strategy & Performance
Own the overall paid media strategy across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads. Manage advertising investments across channels and European markets based on business priorities and performance. Maintain accountability for blended ROAS,



media efficiency and profitable growth. Identify opportunities to scale high-performing campaigns, products and markets. Continuously evaluate channel performance and adjust investment based on commercial results. Ensure paid media activities remain aligned with revenue, profitability and growth objectives. Agency-to-In-House Transition
Support the transition of paid media activities from external agencies to an internally managed operating model. Bring campaign knowledge, historical learnings, account structures and performance data under stronger internal ownership. Reduce unnecessary agency retainers and media mark-ups. Establish efficient internal processes for campaign launches, optimization, testing and reporting. Improve speed and flexibility when responding to market or performance changes. Utilize platform automation across Google, Microsoft and Meta to improve campaign
