Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Administrator to manage, secure, optimize, and support our Snowflake data platform. This role will partner with data engineering, analytics, security, and application teams to ensure a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective environment.
nThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Snowflake administration, role-based access control, performance tuning, monitoring, data security, and cloud data warehouse operations.
nKey Responsibilities

- Administer Snowflake accounts, databases, schemas, warehouses, users, roles, and privileges.n
- Implement and maintain role-based access controls, least-privilege access, and security policies.n
- Monitor Snowflake usage, performance, storage, and credit consumption.n
- Optimize virtual warehouses, queries, workloads, and resource utilization.n
- Configure and manage integrations with cloud platforms, ETL tools, BI tools, and data pipelines.n
- Support data loading, replication, cloning, time travel, fail-safe, and disaster recovery activities.n
- Establish monitoring,



alerting, auditing, and operational procedures.n
- Troubleshoot access, performance, connectivity, and data processing issues.n
- Partner with data engineers and analysts to support development, testing, and production environments.n
- Assist with Snowflake upgrades, releases, migrations, and environment refreshes.n
- Develop and maintain administrative documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.n
- Promote automation using SQL, Python, Terraform, or other approved tools.n
- Support compliance, governance, and audit requirements related to the data platform.n

nRequired Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience administering Snowflake in an enterprise environment.n
- Solid knowledge of Snowflake architecture, security, RBAC, warehouses, databases, schemas, and resource monitors.n
- Experience with SQL and Snowflake performance optimization.n
