Purpose:

To support continuous vessel performance monitoring in a 24/7 operations centre, ensuring timely alerts and insights that contribute to voyage safety, and operational decision-making.

Why the Position Exists:

This role exists to provide round-the-clock surveillance of vessel movements and performance metrics. It enables proactive support to Technical and Operations teams by identifying routing inefficiencies, fuel optimisation opportunities, and compliance deviations.

Limits and Objectives:

The position operates within defined monitoring protocols and escalation procedures. It does not involve direct owner engagement or strategic account management. The objective is to maintain operational vigilance and provide actionable data to shore teams.

ROLES ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Below are the principal responsibilities of the role:

Voyage Monitoring:

Track vessel progress in real-time to identify opportunities for improving safety and optimal routing via security sensitive areas.

Voyage Review: Analyse completed voyages to detect sub-optimal routing,



and recommend improvements
Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct review meetings with Vessels, Owners, Technical and Operations teams to discuss gaps and improvement strategies
Feedback Integration: Collect and implement feedback from vessels and shore teams to explore fuel optimisation possibilities
Owner Liaison: Act as Key Account Manager for Owners requiring advise on safety, security or risk for the vessels, ensuring regular communication and feedback
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare performance reports and project documentation as directed by management
Support to Shore Teams: Provide technical and analytical support to Operations and Technical teams for voyage planning and execution
Research & Development: Contribute to R&D; initiatives focused on improving safety, security or risk
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align performance goals with operational strategie
