Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for performing accounting services for
clients. Individuals in this role should demonstrate a basic understanding of
business operations and accounting systems as well as a basic familiarity of
accounting standards.

responsibilities of the job, which are reflected in the essential duties
outlined below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities for this position include the
following:

* Perform recurring transactional accounting responsibilities, including
invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash receipts, cash
disbursements and payroll transactions
* Perform monthly close procedures, bank reconciliations, sales
reconciliations, and system financial statement preparation
* Research and solve more complex accounting issues
* Identify and anticipate problem areas and work to provide solutions
* Assist with clients’ QuickBooks or similar software
* Assist with updating asset/depreciation schedules




* Assist with preparation of work papers and journal entries for clients
related to but not limited to investments, deferred revenue, payroll and
other items for accrual, such as insurance, property tax, and other pre-paid
expenses
* Perform reconciliations and tie out period-end trial balance accounts
* Keep supervisors/managers apprised of assignments and scheduling issues on a
timely basis
* Demonstrate a deeper understanding of business operations and accounting
systems
* Assume responsibility for assigned engagements with supervision from more
experienced staff
* Work closely with more experienced staff to identify and resolve issues
encountered in performance of various types of assignments through effective
and timely communication
* Establish and maintain a positive working relationship and demonstrate effective
communication with client and US team personnel at appropriate levels
