We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview Data Protection & Insider Risk Management Consultant to join our growing cybersecurity and compliance practice.

Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead requirements discovery workshops, policy design, and implementation for Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management (IRM) use cases.
✅ Develop and execute Sensitivity Labeling strategies , including taxonomy design, default and recommended labeling, auto-labeling, and lifecycle governance.
✅ Drive pilot deployments and optimize Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, and DLP policies .
✅ Assess and fine-tune Sensitive Information Types (SITs) to improve protection effectiveness while minimizing business impact.
✅ Analyze Insider Risk Management alerts, reduce false positives,



optimize risk indicators, and establish monitoring and incident response procedures.
✅ Develop governance frameworks and create technical, operational, adoption, rollout, and executive-level documentation.
✅ Collaborate with business, compliance, privacy, and security stakeholders to align data protection initiatives with organizational objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
6+ years of experience in Data Protection, Information Security, Privacy, or Microsoft Security & Compliance solutions
Robust expertise in Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management , including policy design, alert investigation, risk indicators, tuning, and use case implementation
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection , Sensitivity Labels , and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) across Microsoft 365 environments
Experience conducting stakeholder workshops, gathering requirements, assessing security
