Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a BCom Fresher at H G S & CO Chartered Accountants, located in Chennai. The role involves assisting in day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, voucher entry, and preparation of basic financial reports under guidance. The candidate will support audit and assurance assignments by compiling documentation,



performing simple reconciliations, and helping with compliance checks. Daily responsibilities also include working on tax-related tasks such as data compilation for GST and income tax returns, maintaining organized records, and coordinating with team members for client deliverables. The role provides structured learning opportunities, exposure to multiple service lines, and mentoring from experienced professionals to build a robust foundation in accounting and finance.
Qualifications
Completed Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from a recognized institution with a strong academic foundation in accounting, taxation, and finance.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation; familiarity with Tally or similar accounting software is an advantage.
