Job Role Description The Junior Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. In this role, the team member will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. The Junior Accountant will help prepare basic financial reports, reconcile accounts, and support the implementation of accounting and analytics tools for client businesses. Responsibilities also include working closely with senior accountants and analysts to ensure data accuracy, supporting compliance with relevant regulations, and responding to client queries related to financial records. This position offers hands-on experience in both traditional accounting and data-driven financial reporting.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational accounting skills, including knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, ledgers, and basic financial statements.




Candidates should possess skills in using accounting software and spreadsheets (such as Excel or Google Sheets) for data entry, reconciliation, and report preparation.
Candidates should possess analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and support data-driven decision-making.
Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact with clients professionally.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field are preferred.
Familiarity with basic taxation concepts, compliance requirements, and Indian accounting standards is an advantage.
An openness to learning data analytics tools and working in a technology-driven environment will be beneficial for growth in this role.
