We are expanding our engineering team and looking for high-energy SDE Interns passionate about building scalable, high-speed user interfaces.

ROLE:
As an Associate Frontend Developer at FirstHire, you will support the design and implementation of user-facing features across the web application. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to translate mockups and requirements into clean, responsive, and accessible interfaces. Your day-to-day work will include writing and maintaining frontend code, integrating with backend APIs, troubleshooting UI issues, and optimizing performance across devices and browsers. You will participate in code reviews, follow best practices for version control and documentation, and contribute to iterative improvements based on user feedback and analytics. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

QUALIFICATIONS:




Strong foundation in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design, with hands-on experience building modern user interfaces.
Understanding of Web Development and Back-End Web Development concepts, including working with RESTful APIs and integration with server-side logic.
Knowledge of general Software Development principles, including coding standards, debugging, testing, and use of version control tools (e.g., Git).
Proficiency in core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) is an advantage.
Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team, communicate clearly, and take feedback constructively in a rapid-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
