We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Founding Team, India Product Development Center

Why This Role Matters
Our client, a US-headquartered, global B2B manufacturing marketplace platform (NASDAQ-listed), is opening its first Product Development Center in India, and this is one of the founding engineering hires. You will help set the technical bar and engineering culture for this team from day one.

What makes this role different, in short:
You'll own a real global platform end to end, working with international stakeholders and Xometry's-equivalent global engineering teams across time zones, not building an India-only or augmentation-only product.
This is a senior individual contributor role, not a people-manager role. You'll stay hands-on in architecture and implementation while mentoring engineers across the org, not step back into pure management.




AI fluency is core to the role, not a nice-to-have. The team is built around using AI tools daily, for code generation, review, debugging, and design exploration, to move faster without cutting corners on quality. Solid engineers who use AI well are valued here more than deep expertise in any one specific stack or language.
Marketplace product experience is a strong signal. Understanding how multi-sided platforms scale (buyers, sellers/partners, pricing, sourcing, quality) matters more than industry-specific background.
This is a full-stack role: Python on the backend, React and TypeScript on the frontend, deployed and scaled on AWS.
