Job Description – Business Development Manager (BDM)

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving business growth by developing and executing sales strategies, generating new business opportunities, and managing client relationships. The role involves leading the sales team, identifying customer requirements, preparing commercial proposals, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets through effective sales planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Lead the internal marketing team and drive lead generation initiatives through creative marketing strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
- Explore and implement new channels and methods for lead generation.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor, analyse, and improve the overall performance of the internal marketing team.
- Lead, mentor,



and motivate the sales and marketing teams to achieve individual and team targets.
- Work closely with the Sales Head and coordinate with the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Convert prospective leads into customers through effective consultation, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), and other sales-related documents.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, prepare sales forecasts, and submit periodic sales reports.
- Ensure all customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities are accurately updated in the CRM system.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project
