Role Summary

Leads day-to-day technical configuration of Azure Purview — scanning, classification rules, glossary structure, and workflow configuration — and supervises Purview/UC Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n
- Configure and troubleshoot Purview scans against the Unity Catalog metastore
/n
- Build and tune classification rules for banking-specific sensitive data types
/n
- Configure business glossary structure, term templates, and approval workflows
/n
- Set up data map collections aligned to the domain structure
/n
- Review and QA engineer output before handoff to Data Stewards
/n
- Support access-insight report configuration
/n

/n

Required Qualifications

/n

/n
- 4+ years data catalog/governance tooling experience,



including 2+ years hands-on Azure Purview
/n
- Experience configuring scan rule sets, classification, and glossary workflows
/n
- Familiarity with Azure RBAC and service-principal configuration
/n

/n

/n

Preferred Qualifications

/n

/n
- Experience specifically integrating Purview with Databricks Unity Catalog
/n
- Banking or other regulated-industry classification experience
/n

/n
