KRA's 1. Design development and drawing production Prepare concept, schematic and working drawings for museum galleries, cultural buildings, interpretation centres and government building works
Develop plans, sections, elevations and details to GFC standard, with complete levels, dimensions and finish references
Plan gallery layouts, visitor circulation, thematic zoning and accessible routes
Carry out sightline and level studies for stage, seating and display areas before layouts are frozen
Produce 3D views, material boards and presentation sets for client and approval committee meetings
2. Drawing review and coordination
Review consultant and client issued drawing sets line by line, and record every discrepancy, missing level, undefined height and unresolved detail in a formal comment sheet
Reconcile BOQ items to drawings zone by zone, and flag items that carry no location reference or no drawing backing
Run clash checks between architectural, interior, display, structural and MEP layouts before work is released to site
Raise GFC drawing requests and technical queries in writing,
and maintain a drawing register with revision control and query closure status
3. Heritage and conservation work
Prepare measured drawings, condition mapping and photographic documentation of heritage structures
Develop conservation proposals on a minimum intervention basis, with material and technique matching to the original fabric
Prepare drawings and submissions for ASI and State Archaeology approvals, and incorporate review comments
4. Tender, BOQ and estimation support
Prepare tender drawing sets and technical specifications for bid submissions
Provide drawing based quantity inputs and support analysis of rates for non schedule items
Contribute architectural inputs to DPRs and design proposals for recent tenders
5. Site execution support
Visit sites through the execution stage to verify that work matches drawing intent, and issue site instruction notes where it does not
