Job Description

Head Retail Planner and merchandiser drives sales plan through a consistent focus on studying the business, monitoring inventory and sales performance. Track sales performance of existing products, in-season forecasts and future merchandise plans. Manages merchandising and allocations, to optimize store assortments. Ensure that the merchandise financial targets are met including tracking and managing the open-to-buy sales and inventory.

Manage the OTB sales and inventory and ensure that the merchandise targets will be met on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Current inventory levels
Responsible for reviewing stock to sales ratio and revising MBQs.
Prepare and respond to changing sales trends.
Ensures planned sales, planned markups and markdown are achieved.
Maintains data in merchandising systems.
Ensures planned merchandise flow.
proactive approach to address varainces against planned objective

Work Experience: 10 to 15 years with atleast 3 years at same level

Industry: Soft furnishing/ Clothing industry/ Retail
