Role Description The Production Engineer – Special Projects is a full time role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of production activities for specialized marine and defense systems. The position involves coordinating with design, development, and quality teams to translate technical specifications into efficient manufacturing processes,



ensuring that deliverables meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring production schedules, resolving technical and process issues, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting prototype builds and trials. The role also requires preparing documentation, reports, and production plans while collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain timelines and material availability. This is a hybrid role based in Balanagar, with primary work on-site at the production facility and some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as documentation, reporting, and coordination.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in production or manufacturing engineering, including process planning, line balancing, and optimization for mechanical or electro-mechanical systems.
