About the Role:
MARS Cosmetics is looking for an Innovation Manager – Haircare to identify, develop and launch the next generation of high performance haircare products for consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the haircare innovation pipeline from consumer insight and product concept to commercial launch.
Identify whitespace and emerging opportunities across shampoos, conditioners, masks, serums, oils, styling and scalp care.
Track global innovation across India, Korea, China, Japan, Europe and the US, translating relevant trends into products for India.
Benchmark leading products on formula, claims, performance, ingredients, packaging and price architecture.




Develop strong product briefs and work closely with R&D;, Packaging, Procurement, Marketing and Manufacturing to bring concepts to market.
Evaluate new ingredients, technologies, formats and suppliers that can create meaningful product differentiation.
Conduct consumer research, product testing and competitive analysis to continuously improve concepts.
Build a 3–5 year innovation roadmap for MARS Haircare while balancing novelty, consumer relevance, scalability and commercial potential.
Ideal Candidate:
4–8 years of experience in haircare innovation, product development, category management, R&D; or a closely related role.
Deep understanding of the haircare consumer, products and competitive landscape.
Solid product intuition combined with analytical and commercial thinking.
Ability to independently discover opportunities and convert ambiguous ideas into executable products.
