Role Description The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for leading the mechanical design and development of textile machinery and related components, ensuring robust, efficient, and manufacturable solutions. Day-to-day activities include creating and reviewing detailed engineering drawings, performing design calculations, collaborating with cross-functional teams (production, quality, service), and supporting prototype build, testing, and design validation. The role involves optimizing existing products, addressing field feedback, improving reliability and performance, and adhering to relevant standards and safety requirements. The engineer will also mentor junior team members, contribute to design reviews, and coordinate with global engineering teams as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in Design Engineering and Machine Design.
Proficiency in Product Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWor
