Role Description The Caller internship role is a remote position responsible for engaging with users and prospects over phone calls and other communication channels. Day-to-day tasks include making outbound calls to introduce and explain the Paarambariyam application, answering questions, and guiding interested individuals through basic features and benefits. The Caller will document call outcomes, update contact information, and share user feedback with the team to support product improvements. This role may also assist with following up on leads, scheduling demo calls, and supporting simple customer service inquiries. Interns are expected to maintain professional, courteous communication and adhere to performance and reporting guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with a explicit and confident phone presence.




Ability to explain product features in simple terms and handle basic customer questions and objections.
Comfort with remote work, including reliable internet access and the ability to manage time and tasks independently.
Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with spreadsheets, online communication tools, and call tracking or CRM systems (training can be provided).
Professional, respectful attitude and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive communication with diverse families and communities.
Interest in social apps, family networks, or community-building platforms; prior calling, telemarketing, or customer support experience is a plus but not required.
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to process changes throughout the internship.
