Job Purpose:





The Scada Monitoring Engineer is responsible for the real-time monitoring of
wind turbine operations using SCADA systems, ensuring effective and
uninterrupted performance. This role involves tracking key operational metrics,
responding to system alarms, and documenting incidents according to established
protocols. The Engineer performs initial troubleshooting using diagnostic tools
to identify basic faults and supports engineers in conducting deeper analyses.
This role also includes routine maintenance tasks such as recalibrating sensors,
performing system health checks, and updating SCADA configurations. The Scada
Monitoring Engineer ensures compliance with cybersecurity protocols and safety
standards, maintaining accurate records of all monitoring activities.
Additionally, this position supports continuous improvement efforts by providing
feedback on SCADA system performance and suggesting optimizations to enhance
monitoring effectiveness.
