Role Description The Staff Nurse role at Motherhood in Chandigarh is a full time, on-site position focused on delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care to women, newborns, and children. The Staff Nurse will perform daily assessments of patients, monitor vital signs,



administer medications and treatments, and assist physicians during examinations, procedures, labour, and delivery. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, preparing and managing equipment, and ensuring infection control and safety standards are consistently followed. The Staff Nurse will provide education and emotional support to patients and families on treatment plans, postnatal care, breastfeeding, and pediatric health. The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and supporting smooth functioning of the ward, labour room, and related units.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse qualification with a GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution; valid nursing council registration.
