About The Role

The Product Champion role at Abbott Laboratories is a strategic position responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts for the company's entire product portfolio across multiple therapy areas. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive brand plans aimed at maximizing market share, profitability, and revenue growth.



The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to market analysis and customer engagement. The role demands a blend of strategic thinking, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful promotion and positioning of Abbott’s products in both private and public sector markets.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a tertiary qualification in Health Sciences, Business Sciences, or an equivalent field. Additional certifications or training in Marketing, IMM, or other commercial disciplines will be considered advantageous. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales and brand management is required.
