VJA & Associates is a Chartered Accountancy firm based in Kochi providing audit, assurance, taxation, advisory and related professional services. We are looking for an energetic and organised HR professional to manage and strengthen our people-related processes as the firm continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete recruitment cycle including job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offer management.
Recruit Chartered Accountants, semi-qualified professionals, articled assistants, audit associates, accounting staff and other support personnel.
Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, documentation and exit formalities.
Maintain employee records, attendance, leave and other HR documentation through dedicated Softwares.
Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbook and standard HR procedures.
Coordinate performance appraisal and periodic employee feedback processes.
Support employee engagement, retention and workplace culture initiatives.
Identify training requirements and coordinate technical and soft-skill development programmes.




Assist management in manpower planning and resource allocation.
Handle employee grievances and day-to-day HR matters professionally and confidentially.
Monitor probation, confirmations, increments, promotions and employment contract renewals.
Conduct exit interviews and analyse employee turnover and retention trends.

Candidate Profile
Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Management or a related discipline.
Atleast 2 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a professional services, accounting, consulting or similar organisation.
Solid recruitment and people-management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and HR documentation.
Ability to work independently and establish structured HR processes.
Practical understanding of payroll and applicable labour/statutory requirements would be an advantage.
