Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Gypsum Carpenter role based in Deoria. The Gypsum Carpenter will install, repair, and finish gypsum boards and related materials for walls, ceilings, and partitions, following project plans and safety standards. Daily tasks include measuring and cutting materials, framing support structures, fastening boards, applying joint compounds, and performing finish carpentry work to achieve clean, accurate surfaces ready for painting or other treatments.
The role also involves coordinating with site supervisors and other trades, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring work areas are organized and compliant with safety regulations.
Qualifications
Strong carpentry skills, including Gypsum board installation and general construction experience.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and gypsum work.
Experience with framing structures for walls and ceilings to support gypsum boards.
Ability to perform finish carpentry, including accurate measurements, cutting, and surface preparation.
Knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to follow on-site safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret basic drawings or work instructions related to gypsum installation.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working at heights as required.
