Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Braze Developer / Expert to own the technical implementation, optimization, and scaling of our Braze instance as the core of our Customer Engagement / CDP ecosystem. This role blends platform architecture, campaign engineering, and data integration — building the pipes that feed Braze, the logic that drives personalization, and the campaign infrastructure that powers customer engagement across lifecycle, retention, and acquisition marketing.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain Braze Canvas flows, Campaigns, and Journeys across email, push, SMS, in-app messaging, and webhooks.
- Own the data model within Braze — custom attributes, events,



and user profile unification — ensuring data integrity across ingestion sources.
- Integrate Braze with upstream CDP and data infrastructure (Segment, mParticle, Snowflake, or equivalent) via SDKs, REST APIs, and Currents/webhooks.
- Build and maintain Liquid templating for agile, personalized content across channels.
- Design and implement audience segmentation logic, including behavioral, RFM, and predictive segments (Braze Intelligent Selection / Predictive Suite where applicable).
- Configure and troubleshoot event tracking, custom events, and attribute mapping in partnership with engineering and analytics teams.
- Lead MarTech stack optimization initiatives — auditing existing Braze configuration, reducing technical debt, and improving campaign delivery performance (deliverability, latency, error rates).
- Partner with engineering to manage Braze SDK implementation (iOS, Android, Web) and troubleshoot integration issues.
