Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our team and perform basic accounting and clerical tasks.
In this role, you will support our financial department by processing accounts payable and receivable, verifying and entering financial data, and maintaining accurate records. This is an excellent entry-level prospect for someone with basic accounting knowledge looking to start their career in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Data Entry and Processing: Accurately entering financial transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and purchase orders into our accounting system.
Invoicing and Payments: Preparing and issuing bills, invoices, and account statements. This also includes processing payments and reconciling cash receipts and bank deposits.




Reconciliation: Assisting in reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identifying any discrepancies.
Record Keeping: Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial files, both physical and electronic, and performing general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and copying.
Compliance: Following company policies and procedures to ensure all financial activities are compliant and accurate.
Customer Service: Responding to inquiries from customers, vendors, or colleagues regarding the status of invoices, payments, and account information.
