HEAD – CORPORATE DEBT RESTRUCTURING

Location: Mumbai | Reporting To: Managing Director | Function: Corporate Debt Restructuring / Debt Resolution

ROLE OVERVIEW

A leading financial services institution is seeking an accomplished professional to lead its Corporate Debt Restructuring and Debt Resolution business. The incumbent will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for originating, structuring and executing complex corporate debt restructuring, stressed asset and capital reorganisation mandates.

This is a senior leadership role requiring solid expertise in debt restructuring, transaction execution, stakeholder management and business development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and drive the Corporate Debt Restructuring and Debt Resolution business.
- Originate and execute complex corporate debt restructuring, refinancing and capital reorganisation mandates.
- Develop sustainable restructuring and resolution strategies based on business viability, cash flows and capital structure.
- Lead negotiations with promoters, banks, financial institutions,



investors and other stakeholders.
- Advise on stressed assets, distressed situations, turnaround strategies, debt resolution and special situations.
- Provide leadership across the complete transaction lifecycle—from mandate origination and structuring to negotiation, execution and closure.
- Review financial models, business plans, cash-flow projections, restructuring proposals and viability assessments.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, ARCs, AIFs, investors and corporate clients.
- Drive new business, mandate origination, revenue growth and profitability.
- Build, mentor and lead a high-performing restructuring and transaction execution team.
