Job Summary:

We are seeking a Regional Financial Controller (APAC) to be based onsite in Bengaluru, India, to oversee the day-to-day financial operations, accounting compliance, and manufacturing cost management for our subsidiaries in India and Malaysia. Reporting directly to the US-based Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the parent company, Resistance Optics, the candidate will lead the local finance teams in both countries.



The candidate will serve as the critical bridge between APAC operations and US corporate headquarters, ensuring local compliance while aligning financial reporting with US GAAP. This role requires up to 25% travel to Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Operations & Plant Finance

· Cost Accounting: Oversee inventory valuation, standard costing, manufacturing variances, and plant operational efficiency tracking for our high-precision optics manufacturing facilities.

· Capital Expenditures (CapEx): Evaluate, track, and audit capital investments for regional machinery, cleanroom equipment, and plant expansions.

Team Leadership & Subsidiary Oversight

· People Management: Direct, mentor, and develop local finance and accounting teams in both Bangalore, India, and Malaysia

· Financial Reporting: Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for both entities,
