We are looking for a Chartered Accountant – Taxation & Compliance to take ownership of Faym's end-to-end taxation and compliance function.
Role
This is a high-ownership role for a Chartered Accountant who can independently manage taxation, statutory compliance, reconciliations, audits, and regulatory requirements while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with deadlines, and capable of identifying compliance risks and providing practical tax guidance to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end taxation and compliance across GST, TDS, advance tax, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
- Handle statutory and tax-related audits, ensuring all required documentation, reconciliations, and supporting schedules are maintained and audit-ready.
- Manage tax notices and assessments, including reviewing notices, coordinating responses, and working with external consultants or authorities wherever required.
- Review financial transactions from a tax perspective, including vendor transactions, invoices, contracts, payroll, and business expenses, and provide appropriate tax guidance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by tracking applicable changes in tax laws and regulations and implementing necessary changes within internal processes.
- Work closely on tax planning, compliance risk mitigation, and identifying opportunities for tax efficiency.
- Strengthen taxation and compliance processes by building structured trackers, documentation systems, reconciliation processes, and internal controls.
